In Canada every individual has the right to express their ideas and opinions freely through speech, writing, or any other forms of communication. The right to express thoughts and opinions freely without causing harm to other people. Every individual has a different understanding of what freedom of expression means. To many Canadians freedom of expression means being able to express all thoughts without being scared but also respecting others. In Canada you have the freedom to do and say whatever you want. The charter allows everyone to have their own opinion, and it makes it clear that it’s not wrong to share it with others. For example if you have a strong opinion about a certain religion or issue you have the freedom to discuss and say your thoughts about it. Canadians believe that Freedom is not only being free, but feeling free.
